Falling in love with alpacas isn’t difficult; I fell in love with them while watching a TV series and could not stop thinking about them.So much so that now I have my own alpacas at home and could not live without them!!! My name is Veronica and I live with my husband Giorgio, in the beautiful countryside of the Marche region of Italy, land of the “Vino-cotto” Loro Piceno. We also have three giant-Schnauzer...even they are an important part of our family!!!
Choosing to raise alpacas was a radical lifestyle change, we literally escaped from the city to realise our dream of having a alpaca farm in the country. Alpacas are really gentle; their tranquillity allows anyone interested to get closer to them, generating a calming effect. That's why I call them "Nature’s tranquillizer".
Since the animals like routine, it is very easy to care for them.
It is mandatory every three months that they are vaccinated for Clostridium and at least twice a year a faecal worm analysis to check on herd health. here are still a lot of things to tell you about alpacas.
